The Management
Mervyn Stein - Administration Director
The Home is run by a management committee consisting of the Administrative Director, Social-worker and Co-ordinating Professional Nurses. In addition they are ably assisted by seven professional and a Medical Officer.
The Management Committee is directly responsible to the Executive Committee consisting of a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer and Committee members.

The function of the Executive Committee is to determine that our Mandate, namely to provide TOTAL CARE for the intellectually disabled is adhered to.
Glendale presently offers accommodation to 65 residents. Their ages ranges from 14 to 80 years, with the majority of residents falling between the ages of 41 to 50 years.
20 residents attend Jewish Sheltered Employment Centre on a daily basis and receive remuneration for their work. But most important, they are given the dignity of employment.
Glendale Home is the Sponsoring Body of the School. Volunteers also play an important role in performing various tasks.
The faces of Glendale are like faces universal - curious, anxious, hesitant, concerned, happy and sad. We have tried to capture some of the faces of Glendale, faces of people but also faces of hope, trust, commitment, caring and perseverance. These faces are what makes Glendale so special for the residents who are proud to call it their home in every sense of the word.
